DeLollis Leads; Nablo Looms

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Jason Nablo
Jason Nablo

Local legend Jason Nablo, who final tabled this event in 2013, just went from 70,000 at the last break to over 200,000 heading into this one.

Big hands included one massive set-over-set set-up and an opportunity to play bluff catcher.

In the meantime, Ron DeLollis still leads on 240,000, but things are tightening at the top.

Sandra Boyle is over 200,000 now and Ladies' Night continues with Cathy Schenone filling up twice to drag big pots and take the spot right underneath DeLollis.

A 10-minute break starts now with the board claiming 65 remaining and two levels to play before the day is done.

Beshay Cools Olshan

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Peter Beshay
Peter Beshay

Peter Beshay had a lot of chips early on Day 1a, but none late.

After firing a second bullet today, the opposite is now true. A relatively slow start for Beshay was erased moments ago when he got his last 65,000 in the middle after flopping Broadway with the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} on an {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} board.

Niagara Falls Poker Room regular David Olshan paid him off with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} in what has to be considered a cooler. The rest of the board included a the {6-Spades} and {8-Clubs} for those keeping score at home.

Beshay is now a good bet to bag a big stack.

Rivera Rides Again!

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Alex Rivera
Alex Rivera

Niagara Falls Poker Room standout Alex Rivera is now a threat to bag big into the late levels.

He made it 3,600 from middle position with the {10-}{7-} and the big blind defended. They both checked the {10-}{10-}{6-} flop, but the big blind led the {7-} turn for 3,000.

Rivera flatted with a full house and when the big blind bet 6,500 on the {6-} river, Rivera piled it in. The big blind called for his tournament life with the {10-}{k-}, but was on the wrong end of this cooler.

The dealer started chopping up the pot before Rivera explained the nuances of this boat-over-boat debacle to him.

DeLollis DeLeads

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Ron DeLollis
Ron DeLollis

Ron DeLollis' heater continues and he's now in the lead heading into Level 13.

He became the first player past the 200,000 post getting it in with {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} on a {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-} flop against a player with pocket kings.

The {7-Diamonds} turn made DeLollis a straight and the {6-Diamonds} river was a bit of overkill, making him a straight flush.

When You Care Enough To Send The Very Best

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Justin Villa
Justin Villa

Justin Villa just tried to bluff Dunkirk/Fredonia, NY's Mike Hallmark.

With about 90,000 in the middle, heads-up on a {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} board, Villa shipped it in, having Hallmark barely covered.

Hallmark took a second, but called it off with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Villa had the best hand before the flop with the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, but his river bluff failed miserably and while he's down to a few chips and his chair, Hallmark is a player now.

Hurry Up and Get a Scoop Before It's Gone

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Buffalo, NY's Mike Bielesky limped in and Blake Napierala bumped it to 3,500. The big blind called and Bielesky limp re-raised, making it 9,200.

Napierala called and the big blind shoved in for 500 more. Both players called and an {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop was put out for side action. Bielesky promptly shipped it in for a little under 70,000, covering Napierala.

"Do you have an ace?" Napierala asked.

"You gotta pay to find out," said Bielesky.

"What's your favorite ice cream?" Napierala asked.

"Chocolate," answered Bielesky.

"Mine too," said Napierla, chuckling.

"That's the way I like my women too," added Bielesky.

Napierala folded and Bielesky turned over the {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. The big blind held {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and busted after the {6-Hearts}{a-Hearts} run out made Bielesky trips. He's now got six figures heading into the late levels.

The Clevelander

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Ron DeLollis
Ron DeLollis

A little post-dinner-break heater now has Cleveland, OH's Ron Ron DeLollis among the leaders heading into Level 11.

He picked up kings twice before getting it in with {a-}{k-} versus two tens and flopping an ace.

DeLiollis made the drive from Cleveland just to play in the 2015 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event and there's little doubt he's enjoying it thus far.
