Tom Babiarz took the chip lead into the final day of the 2015 Seneca Niagara Summer Slam Event #3 $25,000 Guaranteed $50 re-entry Thursday.
A card dead day left him short of the final table, posting a 24th-place finish for $261.
However, he's back at it today in the Main Event and already off to a good start after flopping a pair and a straight flush draw.
In the end he got more than a full double up when he rivered a straight and ran into an opponent willing to stack off.
