Can Anyone Catch Klass?

The Wall of Klass
The Wall of Klass

Welcome to our final day coverage of the 2015 Western New York Poker Challenge Main Event. Today someone will claim the trophy and the $59,000 top prize, and we'll be on the floor of the Seneca Poker Room to bring you all of the highlights until the champion is crowned.

The man best positioned to win today is Guy Klass, a Buffalo native who has already more than doubled his career live tournament earnings by reaching the final table in this event. Klass will bring 2,869,000 in chips to the final table — nearly triple the amount of his next closest competitor. He took the chip lead from Adam Foster on Sunday evening and went on a rampage from there, eliminating the 11th- and 10th-place finishers to burst the final table bubble.

Also in contention today is Buck Ramsay, who won the Seneca Summer Slam Main Event last August for more than $41,000. Ramsey has more than $187,000 in career live tournament earnings and is a favorite to claim his second title this evening.

Seneca Poker regulars Blake Napierala and Alex Rivera will also be playing for the title today, as well as the lone lady in the field, Paula Ferro.

The action will resume at noon ET with the blinds at 12,000/24,000 and a 3,00 ante. Stay tuned for all the action from Niagara Falls!
