The Kurtis Boutelle Comeback
Kurtis Boutelle is writing quite a comeback story here in the Main Event.
Down to 3,700 in the first few levels after flopping a flush and losing to a runner-runner full house, the 2015 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event champ and 2016 Summer Slam $1,000 Deep Stack High Roller winner, now has a six-figure stack, and the chip lead, nearing the end of Level 5.
The hand that saw him rise to the top started with four players going to a ![]()
![]()
flop, but the action really heated up when the
turned and all four decided to get it all in. Two players had ![]()
for the straight, a third had a spade flush draw, and Boutelle had them all nutted, holding ![]()
for the full house.
The flush even came on the river, but it was too little, too late. Boutelle dragged the six-figure pot and moved into the lead.
