18 Survive The Seneca Fall Poker Classic Opening Event's First Flight
The first of four starting flights for the $100,000 guaranteed 2017 Seneca Fall Poker Classic $300 No Limit Hold'em drew 125 entries inside the Niagara Falls Poker Room at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino.
As a result, the event is well on its way to crushing its $100,000 guarantee with three flights to come.
In fact, the second of four starting flights will begin at 6 p.m. local time Friday and there will be two more at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday.
Any and all survivors will push through to Sunday's Day 2, where the money awaits and a champion of the first event on the 2017 Seneca Fall Poker Classic schedule will be crowned.
The first flight saw 18 survive with Toronto, Canada's Alex Avdelopoulos riding good luck, timing and skillful play to a massive chip lead. He'll take 440,000 with him to Sunday.
That's it for this first flight, but the action continues here on PokerNews with the second flight starting just minutes from now.
