Money Bricks
Money Bricks

With registration and reentry now closed, we can tell you this second and final 2017 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event starting flight drew 176 entries and reentries. That made for a total of 271 over the two flights, creating a healthy $239,212 prize pool.

The top 27 finishers will all get paid. A very nice $58,608 top prize, the cover of CardPlayer Magazine and a smile for the rest of the upcoming holiday season goes to the winner.

A min-cash is worth $1,818 and the top six finishers will all make over $10,000. Check the Payouts Tab above for details.

I Don't Know Why You Say Goodbye

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Daniel Lopez
Daniel Lopez

We said goodbye to Sandra Boyle, who ran the bottom end of a straight into Tommy Tomasello's top end for piles of chips.

Tomasello said hello to the chip lead on 270,000.

In the meantime, Daniel Lopez looked down at aces after the player in Seat 5 raised to 4,000. Lopez made it 15,000 and Seat 5 jammed 90,000. Lopez called and dragged the easiest 200,000-chip pot he'll ever see with aces versus ace-king.

Plus, over on table four, Bradley Girdler and Hayden Glassman have chipped away at chip leaders Paul McLean and Joe Shaw, leaving Lopez the closest to Tomasello right now.

Electric Slide

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Silvio DeRubeis
Silvio DeRubeis

Silvio DeRubeis opened to a whopping 15,000 with two kings like an old man sending back soup at a deli. He called off the rest of his 60,000-chip stack when the player in Seat 2 shoved two queens.

DeRubeis slides right the thick of it on over 100,000 after that set-up.

Minutes after ringing that dinner time reentry bell, Jason Nablo is out and will have to wait for the Sunday Second Chance tomorrow. Legendary.

In the meantime, Colin Padgett joins the leaders on over 200,000 after winning a race and making two pair versus top pair.

They're down to 70 heading into Level 11.

A Dead Heat

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Jason Nablo

Paul McLean picked off a couple of short stacks to push just over 205,000 headed to dinner.

Coming back, he's in a dead heat for the lead with Joe Shaw. Randomly, Shaw has just been moved three seats to McLean's right, after a big level before dinner vaulted him over 200,000. Let's hope they let fireworks fly over there.

In the meantime, Mark Roberts got the free rebuy, running it up from 3,500 to 120,000 in the level before dinner. A comeback for the ages if he can put that or more in the bag tonight.

Jason Nablo and Matt Marcinkiewicz paid full freight for theirs over the break only adding to the legend of these two locals. Looks like the number of entries got up to 176 with those two. We'll have full prize pool and payout information once it's confirmed by the cage.

Karma Buffet

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Colin Padgett
Colin Padgett

Toronto, Canada's Colin Padgett, who finished 11th to bubble the final table of this event last year, just doubled up to over 100,000 in dramatic fashion.

He limped in under the gun with two queens. Ray Larouech limped two aces right behind him, and after two other callers came along for the ride, the player in the big blind made it 6,500.

Padgett had about 55,000 total and decided to jam it in before Ray LaRouech jumped out of his chair, screamed out "Yes," and slammed his aces on the felt with three players to act. They all folded, putting LaRouech at risk.

The early celebration cost LaRoueche some Karma points and inevitably a queen flopped. LaRouche had a gutshot, but whiffed, and as he says goodbye, Padgett heads into the dinner break with a stack.

That dinner break starts now with 84 left in it and Paul McLean still ahead of them all. Play will resume at around 7 p.m. local time. Registration and reentry is still open until then.

Yipikaye!

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Paul McLean
Paul McLean

It was a limper's paradise until Maria Parlatore made it 4,500 with the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Only Bradey Girdler and Paul McLean called, taking them three ways to a {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop.

Parlatore pushed out 8,000. Girdler went all in for 19,800 total and McLean just called. Parlatore then went over the top to 53,000. McLean shoved close to 100,000 total. Parlatore called, but McLean had the {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} straight.

Girdler had the {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and actually hit his own, larger gutshot straight after the {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} run out. That gave him the 75,000-chip main pot. However, Paul McLean moved into the Level 10 chip lead busting Maria Parlatore and collecting the even bigger side pot.

Sweet Lou

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante
Lou Procopio
Lou Procopio

Lou Procopio rolled in from Syracuse, NY and picked up pocket kings versus {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} all in preflop.

King-queen flopped the world but had too many outs. A few drops of Procopio sweat fell, but the turn and river bricked and he jumped over 100,000.

In the meantime, Michael Young has made it a two horse race at the top of the counts heading into the last level before dinner.
