The Ins and Outs

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Al Bianco
Al Bianco

The last player to reenter the field did so after busting in the last hand before the reentry period closed.

He played exactly one hand with his fresh stack, getting it in with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Al Bianco came over the top with sixes and got jacks to fold face up.

Sixes held for Bianco and they are now down to 17 remaining.

In the meantime, the 76 entries in this flight means 12 percent of the field equals 10 and they will stop when that many are remaining.

Turkey Shoot!

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Four players checked down a board with three overs to Turkey Thugs star Paul Butski's eights.

Then chip leader Al Bianco bet the river.

Butski looked him up like the turkey calling champion he is. Eights were good and Butski slathered the pot with gravy, added sides of cranberry sauce, stuffing and mashed potatoes and ate the whole dang thing.

16 left now. Six more bustouts and that's a wrap.

14 Left, The End Is Near

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Phil Kavanaugh just became Al Bianco's latest victim, getting it in with the {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} versus Bianco's {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

A jack on the flop did the trick, and although the board was all spades to the turn, a fifth did not come down and save Kavanaugh on the river.

14 Left now. Four more eliminations and its over.

Visbisky Out, 12 Remain

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Alex Visbisky had his tens downed by {k-}{5-} headed into the break.

That leaves 12 remaining and they will return with Al Bianco moving back up to 100,000 and into the lead.

Two more eliminations and the flight will wrap up.

Tighten The Noose

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

They've tightened up here in Level 12 and with just two more eliminations to come before the flight is through, no one is ready to risk it.

It appears the short stacks are shoving over wide opens at just the right time and pot control is being played carefully every time they go to the streets.

Either way, no one wants to be next out and after a speedy day, these 12 remaining are letting the blinds catch up a little.

You Know What Time It Is

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Throughout the day, John Fiorella must have asked half a dozen times what time play would wrap up.

The answer for Fiorella is 4:34 p.m.

He finally relented with the short stack and is headed out the door. A Minute later another player busted and 10 remain, stopping play.

They will bag and tag and we will have the chip counts and a short recap upcoming.
