The fifth of six starting flights for the The 2017 Seneca Niagara Falls Summer Slam $125 No-Limit Hold'em Reentry event drew 76 entries inside the Niagara Falls Poker Room at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Wednesday.
That makes 323 entries so far pushing the prize pool over $30,000 with one flight still to come.
With 2:11 left in Level 12 they reached ten players remaining, representing 12 percent of the field, and play was halted. There are now 42 going through to Day 2.
Al Bianco finally had some hands hold up today and he bagged the lead. He'll take 126,800 into Day 2 Thursday, just slightly ahead of Joe Klein from this flight, who bagged 123,300.
Jason Nablo is still the leader in the clubhouse.
The sixth and final starting flight for the $125 No-Limit Hold'em Reentry event will go off at 6 p.m. local time Wednesday. Keep it locked on PokerNews to follow all the action.
Throughout the day, John Fiorella must have asked half a dozen times what time play would wrap up.
The answer for Fiorella is 4:34 p.m.
He finally relented with the short stack and is headed out the door. A Minute later another player busted and 10 remain, stopping play.

They've tightened up here in Level 12 and with just two more eliminations to come before the flight is through, no one is ready to risk it.
It appears the short stacks are shoving over wide opens at just the right time and pot control is being played carefully every time they go to the streets.
Either way, no one wants to be next out and after a speedy day, these 12 remaining are letting the blinds catch up a little.

A jack on the flop did the trick, and although the board was all spades to the turn, a fifth did not come down and save Kavanaugh on the river.

Four players checked down a board with three overs to Turkey Thugs star Paul Butski's eights.
Then chip leader Al Bianco bet the river.
Butski looked him up like the turkey calling champion he is. Eights were good and Butski slathered the pot with gravy, added sides of cranberry sauce, stuffing and mashed potatoes and ate the whole dang thing.
