Meyers Catches Saffron, Mackiewicz Leads Into The Break

Chris 'Jersey' Meyers and Todd Saffron just registered and were sat down at the same table.

Saffron opened the first pot and got two callers, including Meyers. Meyers led the {8-}{7-}{2-} flop and Saffron raised. Meyers three bet and Saffron said let's play for stacks.

Meyers obliged with the {2-}{2-} set and Saffron's tens needed runners or the two outer. Neither came and it's Meyers joining the leaders heading into the first break of the day while Saffron heads to the cage to reenter.

In the meantime, Kristan Mackiewicz hit a set of fives and filled up against rivered trips for heaps. She's over 70,000 and will return from the break with the chip lead.
