Three High Like A Boss
One straight has straightened everything out for James DiPasquale today.
Down to 24,000, DiPasquale made the nut straight to drag a massive four-way pot. Things have gone even more smoothly ever since. In fact, he'll take the chip lead into a color-up break coming up at the end of the level after another fortunate spot.
This time he turned an open ender with a pair of jacks and got it in against jacks up. He hit a better two pair on the river and felted this foe to push up to 160,000.
However, he is having a tough time with Maria Parlatore at the other end of the table.
"He can't be at me in a pot," she said.
"Not with three-high I can't," he replied.
Given, it's tough to win with three high, but there has to be some history there we are not privy to - or likely want to be.
