A Chance At More

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Budwey Salhab
Budwey Salhab

All ten players at the table have won their way into the First Wednesday of the Month Championship Event set for January 2018.

But for Budwey Salhab, there's an added bonus. This is his second First Wednesday of the Month final table so far this year, meaning he'll get an extra 1,000 in chips to start the final.

It also means there will be one less player in the event, giving everyone a better shot at pieces of what is projected to be a more-than $20,000 prizepool.

Down To Ten

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Bill Schuster, Veerab Zakarian, and Cameron Bartolotta got it all in three ways:

Zakarian: {k-}{k-}
Schuster: {a-}{k-}
Bartolotta: {a-}{10-}

Zakarian looked good to triple up until the other two aces in the deck came out. Sal Incardona has hit the exit as well and now they're down to a single table of ten. Here's the stacks:

Down The Stretch They Come

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Todd Saffron
Todd Saffron

Todd Saffron smoked Tom Smolinski making a set of eights to get within close striking distance of chip leader James Miller.

Now they're down to 17 and when the next level starts the average stack will have less than ten big blinds. Things should move pretty fast.

If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.

James Miller

There are no tough decisions for James Miller tonight.

Pierre Gautreau lost half his stack and shoved {k-}{q-} from the button. Miller had {a-}{k-} in the big blind and added his name to the list of souls crushed this evening.

Now they're redrawing again for seats at the final two tables.

Bubble Pops (full)

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

They were on the money bubble and playing hand-for-hand, then the shortest stack in the room finally relented.

Everybody gets paid now. They will redraw yet again when they hit 20 and the final two tables.

This is what the big stacks look like with 21 remaining:
