Joseph Elia is suddenly a contender here after handing fellow Seneca tournament standout Silvio DeRubeis his walking papers.
They got it in set-over-set with DeRubeis on deuces and Elias jacks. A fourth jack on the river was just salt rubbed in the DeRubeis wound.
