McLean Busts Czapko

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Paul McLean limped in under the gun and George Czapko raised to 8,000. The player on the button and both players in the blinds flatted and McLean tagged along as well.

The flop came down {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and McLean fired 20,000. Czapko raised all in for about 40,000 total which cleared the rest of the table and McLean called.

George Czapko: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Paul McLean: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Czapko found no help with a {2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} run out and departed in 15th place.

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Hand-for-hand play was not required this evening as Derek Martin eliminated Daniel Okuloski and Rudy Navas on the same hand with 17 players remaining. Martin had both players at risk with {a-}{k-} against {a-}{q-} for Okuloski and {k-}{8-} for the short-stacked Navas.

The field has been narrowed to 15 hopefuls and they are all in the money.
