Steven Filipovic
Steven Filipovic

After a massive three-way all-in involving Andy Spears and Steven Filipovic, more than 10% of the chips in play are now piled in front of Filipovic.

We picked up the action on the flop with about 40,000 already in the middle and a board reading {7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Spears bet 18,000 from middle position and Filipovic flatted on the cutoff. The under the gun player raised to 37,000 only to see Spears three-bet jam for 166,000.

Filipovic then four-bet jammed for 174,000 and the original raiser snap-called to put both players at risk.

Andy Spears: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Steven Filipovic: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The Canadian, Filipovic, had flopped a set of nine with the Gretzky's and improved to a full house when the {10-Hearts} hit the turn. The {4-Clubs} bricked out on the river and Filipovic dragged a gigantic pot sending Spears to the rail.

Raimondi Looks Down at Another Big Pair

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Peter Raimondi opened to 6,000 from early position and the player in the big blind defended. The flop came {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-} and both players checked to see a {6-} hit the turn. Raimondi flatted a bet of 4,000 and another brick hit the river.

The player in the big blind bet 7,000 and called Raimondi's raise to 25,000. Raimondi tabled the {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flopping quads and his opponent mucked {k-}{k-}.
