Klis Sends Two More to the Rail

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Erik Klis (from a previous event)
Erik Klis (from a previous event)

Erik Klis is back on top of the counts after busting two players in a recent big pot.

With a board reading {7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, Klis bet 37,000, enough to put Jason Nablo all in, Nablo made the call, but then Anthony Koch check-shoved for about 125,000.

Klis took a moment before announcing a call.

Erik Klis: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Jason Nablo: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Anthony Koch: {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Koch had the best of it at the time but Klis had a big draw. Nablo was most in trouble needing a miracle. Klis would make his flush on the river to scoop another sizeable pot.

Eliminated From 64-72nd Place ($412)

Cadwallader Doubles Through Miller

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Richard Cadwallader moved all in preflop for 46,000 and Greg Miller made the call to put Cadwallader at risk.

Richard Cadwallader: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Greg Miller: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

A race was underway as a {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop fanned out. Miller took the lead with his pair of kings and the {2-Hearts} left him one card away from taking the pot.

Cadwallader got up from his seat just as the {9-Spades} hit the river, sheepishly sliding back into his chair to collect the pot.

Bubula Pops the Bubble

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Chris Babula (from a previous event)
Chris Babula (from a previous event)

On just the third hand of hand-for-hand play on the direct money bubble, Chris Babula has put the rest of the field in the money. The player to Babula's immediate right shoved all-in with pocket nines but Babula had woke up with pocket tens and a clean board sent the bubble boy to the rail.

Babula is now the clear chipleader with around 535,000.

Soluri Shoves on Mackiewicz

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
