Huge Turn Card for Curtiss

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Mike Curtis has just emerged as one of the leaders after a huge turn card gave him and his heads-up opponent straights.

The money piled into the middle when a ten fell on the turn of a {7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board. Both players thought they binked it hard. Curtiss just happened to hit it a little harder.

When their hands were revealed, Curtiss tabled the {8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} while his opponent turned over the {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}. The {6-Spades} fell on the river and the massive almost 200,000 chip pot was sent towards Curtiss.

Bracken Blasting Bets

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Things escalated quickly between Ben Bracken and his heads-up opponent on the flop of a {3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board. After the action was checked to him, Bracken bet 5,500 only to see his opponent raise to 15,000. Bracken took no time three-betting to 26,500 and after a moment, his opponent reluctantly folded.

Bracken flashed his opponent the {10-Hearts} as his cards were passed to the dealer.

Dietrich K Doubles

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With about 10,000 in the middle and a flop reading {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Dietrich K check-shoved over a bet of 4,000 from his heads-up opponent and his opponent put Dietrich at risk, calling the 15,600 total bet.

Opponent: {a-}{q-}

Dietrich had his opponent drawing dead with his set of sevens and after a {10-Hearts}{k-Clubs} run out, Dietrich was pushed the pot.

The very next hand, a player in the cutoff opened to 4,500 getting a call from a player on the button. Both folded when Dietrich three-bet jammed from the big blind.

Damick Binks the River

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

After an open from a player in early position, Chris Damick bumped up the action making it 6,100 to go and the original raiser made the call.

A {5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Spades} flop fanned out and the early position player quickly moved all in for about 15,000. Damick sized up the stack and made the call.

Opponent: {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Damick was behind but had a pile had a bunch of outs to bust his opponent. The {4-Spades} on the turn left Damick drawing to the river when the {k-Hearts} peeled off. Damick made a straight and collected the pot.
