Chips Piled in on the Flop

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

With a {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop in front of them, six bets later, both Don Conrad and Tom 'Plumber' Guidon were all in and at risk against Mike Rellinger. Conrad was in for about 7,000 and Guidon in for about 18,000.

Don Conrad: {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}
'Plumber': {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Rellinger: {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

Rellinger was ahead with a set of sixes with the other two drawing. The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, giving Conrad a flush to take the main pot and Guidon a straight to take the side pot.

Wasik Makes Quads

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

With 11,000 in the pot and a board reading {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, Ken Wasik bet 3,000 and Dennis Fleig check-called. Wasick turned over the {10-Hearts}, then the {10-Spades}, and Fleig quickly mucked.

Desabio and Roberts Chop

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Mark Roberts bet 1,100 on the flop of a {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} board finding callers in Sam Desabio in the cutoff and the player in the small blind. The {j-Clubs} hit the turn and Roberts bet 2,200, getting called twice once more.

When the {7-Clubs} peeled off on the river, Roberts moved all in for about 10,000. Desabio called and the player in the small blind folded.

Both Robert and Desabio tabled their own {k-}{j-} and chopped the pot.

Defending Champion in the Field

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Some familiar faces are in the crowd this afternoon along with the defending champion, well, maybe both defending champions? Last year Dennis Fleig got the trophy but him and Mark Roberts, along with a third player did an even three-way chop with Fleig getting the trophy.

Marty Derbyshire and Blake Napierala are also in the mix.
