Saurabh Gulati then limped the 3♦2♥ from the small blind and Ronit Chamani raised for most of his stack with A♦10♥ to take it down.
The inevitable clash between Saurabh Gulati and Colin Horgan unfolded when an open raise to 500,000 from under the gun was met by the three-bet shove of Horgan and the quick call for 2.9 million.

When the flop fell 6♠4♣2♥, Gulati already celebrated and embraced Horgan, whose fate was sealed on the 8♠5♦ runout. He takes home ZAR 388,265 for the efforts and then jumped into the commentary booth.
Colin Horgan raised the button to 400,000 holding the A♠3♣. Saurabh Gulati called in the small blind with J♣9♣ and hit best on the 10♥9♥5♣ flop. The Aussie used his bigger stack and bet 650,000, Horgan let go of his ace-high.
Saurabh Gulati opened the action from under the gun with A♦3♦ for 450,000 and Colin Horgan came along from the big blind with Q♥8♦. The J♦9♥6♣ flop gave Horgan a gutshot and he check-called for 575,000.
On the 6♥ turn, Horgan opted to check again and Gulati checked back to see the 2♣ river for free.
Horgan bet 1.2 million, half the pot, carefully monitored by Gulati. The Aussie used one time bank and called to win the pot with his ace, leaping back into the top spot. Both players fist-bumped and Horgan could all but nod.
"Put me in the bin," the Irishman joked.
The action started with an under-the-gun raise by Saurabh Gulati to 550,000 and Colin Horgan jammed for 3,000,000 from the big blind. Gulati eventually called and Horgan flipped for his tournament life.

It was a "sick hold" for Horgan on the A♣6♠4♣8♥8♦ board and he leaped back into the top spot.
First to act, Colin Horgan made it 400,000 to go with the A♣10♠. Saurabh Gulati three-bet from the button to 800,000 with K♥4♥ and Horgan reluctantly folded the best hand.
Diane Walker raised the button with the Q♦8♦ for 550,000 and Saurabh Gulati called from the big blind with A♥9♠. The K♠Q♠4♥ flop was checked by Gulati and he then folded to a bet.
Out of the small blind, Colin Horgan pushed all-in for 2.9 million with the 5♦5♣ and Saurabh Gulati asked for a count with the Q♣J♠ but elected to fold.
Horgan then raised to 400,000 with the A♦9♠ and took down the blinds.
Gulati's button raise with A♠10♥ won the blinds uncontested.
Once it was on Nic Ioannoy on the button, he pushed all-in for 400,000 and Diane Walker called the extra 200,000 from the big blind.

The dominated queen spiked the kicker on the 8♣7♠3♦ flop, Ioannoy then ran out dry on the 9♠ turn and 4♣ river to become the fifth place finisher.
Nic Ioannoy was forced all-in for 200,000 with the K♣7♣ and Ronit Chamani as initial raiser from under the gun had the 10♥7♥.
The 9♣4♣4♦3♣J♦ board gave Ioannoy a flush and he leaped to two and a half big blinds.
In the next hand, Diane Walker raised to 450,000 with the A♥2♥ but folded when Saurabh Gulati three-bet to 1.1 million on the button.
