Ioannoy Cracks Aces to Stay Alive
Level 21
: Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Nic Ioannoy open-jammed the hijack for 200,000 and was called by Divan Le Roux in the small blind.
Le Roux rolled over the A♥A♥ and Ioannoy said "That's all? I have a hand that can beat that. Watch me hit a straight," Ioannoy said before he exposed his 8♥5♦.
The 9♥7♥5♣ flop gave gim a pair and gutshot, and his prediction came true with the 6♦ turn as well as the 10♠ river runout.
