Upon completion of level eight, all remaining 68 players have been sent on a scheduled 60-minute dinner break during which the T-100 chips will be raced off. The third flight has already become the largest with up to 131 entries and the registration will be open for another two levels.
Action after dinner is scheduled to recommence at approximately 7.03 p.m. local time.
Three short stacks have been eliminated over on table 22 and two of them fell victim to Gerrit van der Spoel including Alan Jung. It remains unclear if Jung had 9♦9♥ or the other player, but the A♠3♥ of van der Spoel made two pair on the A♣7♠2♦K♥3♣ runout.
"Good hand Jehan," Sean Bloom said after both stacks were counted. On a board of K♣9♦7♣10♣9♣, both players had flopped top pair. The K♦Q♦ of Bloom had outs against Jehan Richards with the A♠K♥ but ultimately fell short by virtue of the kicker.
Wesley Blom had appeared not that long ago in the field and mentioned he had dropped to as low as 7,000 in chips. He then jammed the fourth hand in a row and was this time called by the big blind. It was A♣2♥ of Blom versus the big blind's Q♠J♣ and the 8♣6♣2♠6♥7♥ board confirmed the double or Blom.
On the tail end of a Q♠5♠4♠7♣K♥ board, Nic Ioannoy bet 10,000 and Jehan Richards went into the tank. No call followed and Ioannoy tabled the A♠ without disclosing the other card.
"Flopped flush but the river killed me," Ioannoy said.
One table over, a short-stacked Gareth Duncan was all-in with 10♥10♣ and faced a baby ace on the other side of the table in A♣2♣. The board ran out 8♦6♠3♣6♦8♣ and the pocket pair held for the double.
On the heads-up turn of 10♦6♣4♠9♠, Ariel Mazabow check-raised all-in and Remy Murcia called all-in for 53,000 with the words "I have outs" before he showed the A♠7♠. However, he was actually ahead versus K♠J♠ and the 10♥ river paired the board to keep ace-high in the lead.
Jaco Mouton moved all-in for massive 82,100 preflop after Imran Bhojani had squeezed to 11,000. He had done so a few times before and the risky move saw Bhojani interested, as he asked for an exact count.
Both then agreed to show the cards no matter what happened and Bhojani folded the A♠10♠ face-up.
Mouton revealed the A♥Q♦ and then said "I don't want to four-bet and then fold against a five-bet, so I just put all the pressure on you," he iterated.
