Brooks Leaves van der Spoel Short
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Harold Brooks opened to 125,000 with the K♠10♠ and he was called by Gerrit van der Spoel with the A♦J♦ in the hijack. The 9♣8♠7♠ flop was checked by both before Brooks bet the 5♣ turn for 150,000 and the K♣ river for another 200,000. Van der Spoel called both times to drop to a short stack.
