Anjan Hellstrom was all-in for 9,600 preflop and Vinaj Lala called from the next seat while a limper got out of the way.
Hellstrom tabled his A♦10♦ and sighed a "well done" when he saw the A♠A♣ of Lala. They bumped fists after the Q♣7♥6♥ flop even though Hellstrom was not drawing dead yet. That was the case on the 3♥ turn to make the 5♠ river a formality.

Banks Solomons raised to 1,200 and received two callers out of the blinds including Kosta Karagounis. On the J♠J♣3♣ flop, only Karagounis check-called Solomons' continuation bet of 2,500 before they checked down the J♥ turn as well as the 9♥ river.
Karagounis revealed the A♣9♣ for jacks full of nines to win the pot.

Three ways to the K♦5♥5♠9♠ turn, it checked to Vishal Ghoorbin and he bet 4,500. One caller later, Derrick Steenkamp then check-raised to 10,000 and Ghoorbin was the only caller. Steenkamp led the 8♠ river for 10,000 and Ghoorbin sigh-called to get shown the 6♣5♣ for flopped trips fives.
"You play so bad," Wesley Blom joked as Ghoorbin smacked his A♦A♠ on the felt. The hand left Ghoorbin very short and he bowed out right after.
New in the field are Hennie Appel on the second bullet and Minesh Keshav.

In a preflop raising war, Martin Maroun four-bet to 4,500 and Okkie Fourie then five-bet to 13,200. Maroun went into the tank and eventually folded the A♥K♥ face-up.
"I can rule out pocket queens, he would flat those," Banks Solomons grinned. The cards of Fourie were never shown as he silently dragged in the pot.

Heads-up to the A♣10♦6♣9♣ turn, Vinaj Lala bet 2,500 and Hennie Appel called. They checked the 2♣ on the river when a possible four-card flush arrived and Lala mucked his A♦10♣ after he was shown the Q♣J♠ of Appel.

Sugen Singh in the small blind wanted to raise but didn't announce it and thus overcalled an opening raise to 1,000, which brought along five players in total to the 6♥5♥3♠ flop. Table chip leader Sheldon Grove in the big blind bet 1,000 and Stephen Courtney raised to 2,500, forcing out the other two players.
Singh then reraised to 5,000 and Grove folded, as did Courtney.
Before collecting the pot, Singh wanted the others to guess his hand and eventually revealed the 3♥3♦ for flopped bottom set.

Kosta Karagounis limped in and Joe Rahme raised to 1,100, which Martin Maroun called out of the big blind. Karagounis came along and Maroun checked in the dark, his two opponents checked behind the 9♠7♠3♠ flop. On the K♦ turn, Maroun bet 1,100 and Karagounis folded, Rahme called and asked for another spade.
That wish was not granted with the 2♣ river and Maroun's bet of 1,200 went through uncalled. He exposed the K♥ and Rahme flashed his 8♠8♣.
New on the table is Tanith Rothman, who just entered a few minutes ago.
