Six levels have been completed and the field has reached 59 entries, of which 36 players remain. They have been sent on another 15-minute break with the longer dinner break up next. The ZAR50,000 High Roller is now also on a break as well with the end of the late registration nearing once the cards go back in the air.
Mariette Language had chipped up before the break and then bet the river of a 8♣7♦2♠4♠7♥ river for 4,000. Dimitri Hadjipaschali reluctantly called and was shown the 4♦2♦ by Language, which he had beat with the 6♦6♥.
One table over, Teren Ramnundlall had been eliminated while Derrick Steenkamp bounced back.
Last but not least, Rajeev Poonhath bet the 10♦5♣3♣ flop for 1,200, earning calls from Harold Brooks and Wesley Blom. On the K♥ turn, Blom checked and Poonhath made it 2,500 to go. Brooks raised to 7,500 and Blom folded, Poonhath called. The latter bet the 6♥ river for 8,000 and Brooks folded his 9♣7♣ face-up.

Just before the blinds went up, Sheldon Grove had a raise to 3,000 out in front and then folded when Menesh Keshav pushed all-in for slightly more than the starting stack, Okkie Fourie also folded as well.
One hand later, Grove limped and so did another three players. Shawn Smith in the small blind made it 2,500 to go and earned no fewer than four callers. Five ways to the K♠8♣8♥ flop, everyone checked and it was Grove who bet the 4♦ turn for 3,500. Keshav raised to 11,000 and forced out all opponents.
