Warren Zackey raised to 14,000 and then called the all-in of David Ng for 28,000 on the button.

Gordon Padayachee ended up getting his short stack in the middle after the 5♣2♠2♣9♣ turn and revealed the A♠10♣. That hand combination had no equity anymore, as Henk Wiese had improved to an unbeatable flush with the K♣Q♣ to make the A♦ river a formality.
Gareth Kalil got it in preflop from the cutoff with the A♥Q♠ and Sean Bloom looked him up with the 10♦10♠.
The 10♥8♦7♥10♣4♣ board gave Bloom quads and Kalil was knocked out, then asked instantly if the late registration for the turbo heat 1e was still open.
Gordon Padayachee limped off a short stack and Giovanni Zanette raised to 12,000 in the cutoff. When Elai Mazor had not acted yet, Henk Wiese already splashed in a small four-bet to 25,000. Mazor then four-bet himself to 30,000 and since the action changed, Wiese had the option to fold which he did.
Padayachee folded and Zanette called to see the 10♦5♥3♥ flop. Mazor bet 18,000 to earn a call and then asked the dealer to spread the pot on the J♦ turn. The shove by Mazor followed and Zanette asked for a count. With an all-in of 142,000 ahead, Zanette used one time bank and folded.
With the completed board showing 5♠3♦2♣4♠7♠, Muddassir Ameer bet 6,000 out of the small blind. He was called by Kaelin Poovalingam before Joachim Aucamp pushed all-in for 59,000 on the button.
Ameer called and Poovalingam folded for the former to show 10♠2♠ for a flush.
Aucamp had 8♣6♥ for the nut straight and was eliminated. "Some people are gifted," Aucamp said on his way out while Poovalingam mentioned he folded ace-queen.
Joining the action on the 510s8d7c5c] turn, Gerrit van der Spoel bet 15,000 out of the small blind and Vishal Ghoorbin called in middle position. Another bet and call for 20,000 followed on the 9♠ river and van der Spoel tabled the K♦9♦.
"I put you on that," Ghoorbin celebrated as he raked in the pot with the Q♠10♦.
On the tail end of the A♣Q♥10♠9♦2♥ board, the action checked to Giovanni Zanette and he bet just 12,000 into two opponents. Vishal Ghoorbin called, as did Gerrit van der Spoel after he bemoaned "this is collusion".
Zanette tabled the A♦J♥ for the top pair and it was enough, as van der Spoel only had A♠4♠.
On the heads-up turn of A♣7♥4♥A♥, Warren Zackey bet big as he made it 70,000 to go. That was slightly less than the stack of Edgar Antezana in the next seat, who was his sole opponent by then. Antezana folded and Zackey flashed him the 8♥6♥ for a flush.
While Antezana is one of the shorter stacks, he currently has more chips than he bagged up last night. The bigger stack will be carried forward to Day 2 in case participants advance more than once.
Robert Hertzog raised to 8,000 and was called by both players in the blinds including Kinesh Pather and Anand Kumar. The 10♥8♣7♦ flop was checked to Hertzog, who bet 12,000. Only Kumar called and did so again for 15,000 on the 8♠ turn.
Both checked the 7♥ river and Kumar won the pot with A♦10♦, as he beat the Q♠10♠ of Hertzog.
Kumar has taken over the top spot, while Sean Bloom is not far behind.
