SM Back Above the Starting Stack

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Three ways to the JJ5 flop with 8,000 each invested, SM was first to act and nodded, then pushed forward his cards before telling the dealer he was all-in. He moved the chips next and then pulled back the cards behind the chips while he was eating a snack that had arrived not long ago.

He forced two folds, as Kade Ollewagen also sent the cards into the muck as last player to act.

Ghoorbin Raises; Chetty Bounces Back

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Cliton Taliwanth bet the 543103 river and was raised to 15,000 by Vishal Ghoorbin. Taliwanth mucked a ten and Ghoorbin told him "I will show you," flashing the 76 for the flopped straight.

On the same table, Jubal Chetty reraised to 8,000 preflop soon after and was called by Kosta Kotsikaris. They checked to the K3224 river on which Chetty check-called for 12,000 and won the pot with the QQ.

Luyt Among the Chip Leaders

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Right before the end of the level, Stephen Courtney went to war against Chris Luyt. They were on a flop of AJ9 and Courtney bet 3,500. Luyt raised to 8,500 only for Courtney to make it 17,000 to do.

"Do you have a set?" Luyt asked and called shortly after. Once they checked down the 4 turn and 6 river, Luyt added "it's either saving you or me". He showed the J9 for two pair and that won the pot, as Courtney only had A5 for top pair.

In the last hand prior to the break, there was multi-action over on table two. Four ways to the 543 flop with a bet of 10,000 out in front of Hafiz Juma, Jubal Chetty pushed all-in from the very next seat in the hijack. Vishal Ghoorbin in the cutoff tank-folded and Kosta Kotsikaris also got out of the way. Juma burned through three time banks and then folded the A2 for the flopped wheel.

Chetty eventually exposed the 86 for straight and flush draw. They even convinced the dealer to rabbit hunt the next card, which would have been the K on the turn.
