Alvin Pillay raised it up to 16,000 and Kade Ollewagen three-bet to 35,000. Jacobus de Nysschen then cold four-bet to 55,000 and Pillay folded, while Ollewagen quickly called.
The two players checked to the A♥Q♥4♥A♣K♣ river on which Ollewagen bet 60,000. De Nysschen folded and was shown the 4♠4♣ for a full house by Ollewagen.
Menesh Keshav check-called a bet of 15,000 on the A♦10♠3♦A♠ turn and checked again the K♣ river. Gerrit van der Spoel then bet 50,000 and Keshav eventually called to get shown the A♥A♣ for quads.
Warren Zackey raised to 15,000 and then called the shove by Jehan Richards from the next seat for 52,000.,

Kosta Kotsikaris won three big pots early in the day and the last one saw the elimination of Anders Hellstrom in a preflop contest.
Hellstrom got it in with the J♣J♦ only to run smack dab into A♥A♣. There was no upset on the 10♥7♠3♥10♦7♣ to send the Swede to the rail.
At the same time one table over, Warren Zackey check-raised the A♥J♠10♦ flop and jammed the 9♣ turn for 68,000. Jehan Richards reluctantly called and was shown the A♣J♦. Richards shook his head and flashed the K♣K♦, needing a king or queen to score the knockout.
The river was the 7♦ and Zackey doubled to leave Richards short.
Caleb October pushed all-in for 90,000 in the cutoff and Harold Brooks rejammed on the button to force out the blinds.

The Q♦10♥8♣ flop and 10♦ turn kept October ahead. The dealer then burned but put the burn card face up, which was the J♣. All eyes of the players went to her, as it was pointed out that it was the burn. What followed was the 5♣ river and October doubled.
Max Deveson raised from an early position and Warren Zackey three-bet to 30,000 in the cutoff. The shove by Deveson was called and both players revealed pocket pairs.

The Q♣9♠5♦ flop left Gossyn in rough shape as he needed running cards to a straight. It was all over with the 2♠ turn to make the 3♥ river a formality.
Ahmed Karrim got it in with the 9♥9♦ via three-bet shove for 65,o000 and was looked up by Banks Solomons with the 6♦6♥, who had flat-called a raise to 15,000 by the under-the-gun player and was then the only caller.
The board ran out 8♠8♦3♠6♠A♠ and the six on the turn sent Karrim out before the money.
Melissa Kalil was eliminated by Sean Bloom the reduce the field to 61 hopefuls.
Imran Bhojani then took on Gregory Maistry in a three-way flop of Q♥5♦2♥. Bhojani led for 6,000 in the small blind and Nadav Mazor called in the big blind. Maistry raised to 17,000 only for Bhojani to make it 42,000 to go, forcing out Mazor. Maistry called and they checked the 4♦ turn.
On the 4♥ river, Bhojani checked again and folded when Maistry bet 30,000.
