Gavin Sardini raised to 110,000 with the A♣Q♣ first to act and earned four callers: Sugen Singh with the Q♦9♦, MAJ with the 5♥5♦ in the cutoff, Gareth Kalil on the button with the 4♠4♦ and SM in the big blind with 9♣8♦.

With 655,000 in the middle, Sardini opted to jam the 9♠8♣6♣ flop for 1,135,000 and SM was the only one to look him up with the top two pair.

Sardini picked up more outs with the 6♥ turn not the 7♥ river ended his run in ninth place for ZAR107,285.

SM opened to 100,000 from under the gun with K♣J♥ and Gareth Kalil came along from the small blind with the 6♦2♦, Norman Cherry did so from the big blind with the Q♠9♣. The Q♦10♥3♦ flop saw Kalil check the flush draw and Cherry simply jammed for 870,000.

SM folded to the three times pot shove and Kalil came to the same conclusion.

SM made it 100,000 to go with the A♦6♣ on the button and Gavin Sardini three-bet to 260,000 out of the small blind with 7♦6♦. The initial raiser took it to the streets and called which led them to the 10♣8♦4♠ flop. Sardini chec k-called for 150,000 and checked again the 3♥ on the turn.

SM bet 310,000 and that forced out Sardini, who dropped below a million.
