Amstel Gold Race Goes to Elizabeth
Level 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
There was an all-in and call over on table three and a quick look revealed why it was such an obvious clash as Shannon Elizabeth and Amstel both had flopped a set on Q♣10♦8♠.
Shannon Elizabeth: Q♠Q♥
Amstel: 10♥10♠
The 2♦ turn and J♠ river were no threat and Elizabeth doubled, she now has more chips than she bagged on Day 1a. Nic Ioannoy mentioned he folded Q♦9♦ and would have rivered the best hand.
