In a battle of the blinds, Alexi Alexandrou jammed the J♥6♥4♣ flop and Joseph Stegers reluctantly folded the 5♥2♥ for a gutshot and flush draw, as Alexandrou flashed the 4♦.
One hand later, Kinesh Pather raised to 11,000 from an early position. Alexandrou jammed again and Pather reluctantly folded.
"I had a good hand," Alexandrou said and flashed his A♥Q♥. "It was a race," Pather replied and exposed his 8♦8♥.
One table over, the big stack of Benjamin "Guppie" Lingenfelder grew even further when he got two streets from Marko Nortje. The latter then folded the Q♠7♦6♣J♠A♥ river and was shown A♦Q♥ for aces and queens.
"Good river ... I had king-queen," Nortje mentioned in table chat.
