Roy Bitton Eliminated in 12th Place (ZAR90,590)
Level 23
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Roy Bitton raised to 100,000 in the small blind and Gavin Sardini defended the big blind. On the 8♣7♠5♥ flop, Bitton continued for 100,000 and Sardini pushed all-in. After a few seconds, Bitton declared "I call" and the cards were flipped over.
Roy Bitton: K♥5♠
Gavin Sardini: 7♠3♠
The second pair was ahead versus third pair, and that stayed this way on a 4♦ turn and 3♣ river runout. Bitton, who had started second in chips, became the first casualty and takes home ZAR90,590.
