Gareth Kalil Eliminated in 8th Place (ZAR140,200)
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sugen Singh opened to 130,000 with the K♠10♠ and was called by Gareth Kalil in the small blind, who had the 10♣6♣. Norman Cherry defended the 5♦5♥ in the big blind.
The K♣6♦2♣ flop saw Kalil shove for 770,000 into a pot of 440,000 and Cherry got out of the way.
Singh needed an extra time bank but called with the top pair, then all but closed his eyes.
The 10♦ turn and 3♥ river sealed the fate for Kalil, as he bowed out in 8th place.
