Shortly after knocking out a short-stacked Sven Strommes, Gideon Scheepers called a raise to 11,500 by Kyle Krishnan while in the cutoff. The duo headed to a flop of 7♣3♦2♠ on which Krishnan bet 13,000. Scheepers instantly announced all-in and Krishnan called.

"Nice," Scheepers simply said as he only held two outs to avoid a setback. Nothing changed with the 7♥ turn and K♥ river as Krishnan doubled for 58,000.

On a flop of 8♥5♥3♦, Chad Khoury in the small blind checked and Ricky Toker bet 12,000. The check-raise to 30,000 by Khoury followed and Toker stuck around.

Khoury bet the 8♦ turn for 25,000 to earn a call and then emptied the clip with a bet of 40,000 on the 9♠ river. Toker sighed and sent his cards into the muck after a brief tank.

Brett Toker defended out of the blinds and check-called a bet worth 11,000 on a flop of Q♥10♣3♠ against Gary Citron. They checked the 6♠ on the turn before Toker also checked the 2♦ on the river. Citron repeated his bet of 11,000 and won the pot without resistance, as Toker sent the cards into the muck.

Toker continued for 11,000 and Cherry joked "I am giving you chips again" before tossing in the calling chips. They quickly checked down the 9♠ turn and 9♥ river for Toker as last aggressor to reveal the A♦J♥.

"You hit the jack?" another player at the table asked. Cherry exposed his 8♠6♣ to lose a portion of his stack.

Gavin Sardini opened the action with a raise to 5,500 and earned three callers in Adam Woolf, Kyle Krishnan and Josh Liebenthal. The K♦10♠6♥ flop saw Sardini continue for 10,500 and the only caller was Woolf. Sardini then check-called the 10♥ turn for 16,000 before leading the 2♠ river for 25,000.

Woolf gave it a few seconds before he called and Sardini shook his head with the words "I missed". He never disclosed the cards as Woolf won the pot with the J♣10♣ for trips tens. While the hand played out, Patrice Ah-Nien was knocked out one table over and Anand Kumar took over the lead there.
