Mazabow and Rann on the Rail
Michael Cupido took a very aggressive line when he clicked it back on the 8♦6♣2♥ flop when he faced a bet by Ariel Mazabow, a raise by Rayhaan Adam and then check-three-bet himself. Mazabow only called and Adam folded.
Cupido jammed the 4♥ turn for 800,000 effective and Mazabow snap-called.
Ariel Mazabow: 8♣8♦
Michael Cupido: K♥Q♥
The river brought the 5♥ for the flush and Mazabow busted in spectacular fashion.
"If he clicks it back on the flop, I am folding but when the heart comes on the turn I was getting it in," an ecstatic Cupido said after his vidid celebration.
The UK's James Rann also busted but in a more standard fashion. He was all-in for 500,000 with the A♠K♣ from the small blind and Jon Persent looked him up with the K♦K♠.
"The ace of spades is a good card," Rann said right before the flop came A♥7♠4♦ flop. Persent was down to the case king and got it with the K♥ turn. Rann needed another ace and missed on the 4♥ river.
