Alexander Rizvi made it 250,000 from under the gun holding the K♣Q♠ and Mike Cupido flatted from the small blind with 7♦7♣. On a flop of 6♠4♣3♦, Cupido check-called for 300,000 with his overpair and gutshot straight draw.
The 7♥ turn gave him top set and he checked, Rizvi checked behind. That brought along the Q♣ river and Cupido bet 700,000. Rizvi burned through his remaining time banks and laid down his rivered top pair.
After the completion of the hand, the remaining seven players went on a scheduled 15-minute break.
