JS Starts With a Preflop Shove

Satellite winner JS had just taken a seat and put the chips to use right away, not having received any time bank extensions. He made it 2,000 to go preflop in the hijack and Norman Cherry reraised to 8,000 in the cutoff. JS then pushed all-in and Cherry reluctantly folded with the words "you have to have aces".
JS offered to show one card if Cherry would do so and they both exposed one card each, the K♦ and the Q♥. That'll be no aces then.
