Set Over Set Without Upset Boosts Kossew
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
The turn showed J♠6♥5♦4♥ and Jedd Kossew made it 8,000 to go. Stephen Courtney pushed all-in and Kossew beat him into the pot.
Courtney tabled the 6♠6♣ for a flopped set of sixes but Kossew had that pipped with the J♥J♣ for top set, leaving Courtney with just a single out. No miracle came with the Q♠ river and Kossew doubled for 26,100 to leave Courtney on a nub.
