Van Huyssteen and Blom Eliminated
Level 16
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Stefan Van Huyssteen raised from under the gun and Hennie Appel called. On the button, Danny Dayani moved all-in for 45,000 and Van Huyssteen then limp-shoved for 86,000. Appel called to put two players at risk.
Danny Dayani: Q♥J♥
Stefan Van Huyssteen: K♥10♥
Hennie Appel: 8♠8♦
The 6♥3♥2♣J♦9♠ board ensured a triple up for Dayani while Van Huyssteeen was eliminated. He was going to share the bad news to Wesley Blom, who himself suffered bad news, too.
"Bad runout," Blom said. His K♦Q♠ had turned the nut straight on the 10♦9♠8♣J♣J♥ board but Keenan Pienaar rivered a full house with the J♠10♠!
