Gilbert Tin Fook was all-in for 34,600 preflop and looked up by Nic Ioannoy on his very first hand as well as Rudolf Fourie.

The board ran out 9♣5♥4♦8♦3♠ and Tin Fook tripled, while Ioannoy won the tiny side pot.
"I survived the first all-in," Ioannoy joked to Giovanni Zanette two tables over before adding that it was just for the tiny side pot.
NT was all-in for 16,000 from under the gun after the 8♣3♥2♠ flop and Lauren Piha called in the small blind, while Giovanni Zanette folded the J♦2♣ in the big blind.
NT was at risk with 9♦4♦ near the end of the re-entry period and behind, as Piha had the 9♥3♦. The 6♦ turn and 6♣ river sent NT to the rail and he instantly re-entered to a different table.
Jaco Mouton was able to run up a larger stack after his re-entry but that all came to a crashing end. Most of the chips went to Harold Brooks when Mouton bluff-jammed for a big pot on the 6♦2♦2♠4♥K♣ river out of the small blind. Brooks called all-in for the 63,500 he had behind and was good with K♦Q♦, as Mouton had air with the 10♦9♣.
Down to around 30,000, Mouton disappeared soon after. Jarred Solomon also busted while NT entered late on that very same table.
Gilbert Tin Fook was all-in with a short stack and flipped holding 9♣9♠, up against the A♥K♠ of Raja Vempati. The A♣Q♦8♠ flop vaulted Vempati into the lead but the 9♥ turn locked up the double of Tin Fook to make the 10♥ river a formality.
The short stack of Ahmed Karrim went into the middle with the A♣8♥ and he was looked up by Braam Van Huyssteen with the J♦J♥. No ace appeared on the Q♦7♣2♠4♦8♦ board and one eight was not enough to keep Karrim in the mix. He can still re-enter prior to the start of level 11 with currently 23 players left.

In the penultimate level during the late registration, the field has been reduced to the final three tables. There were several casualties on table eight, which is now led by Divan Van Wyk and Keenan Pienaar.
On the tail end of a K♠9♣5♦5♥5♣ board, Craig Hartland in the small blind checked and then called a bet of 25,000 by Bradley Moore from under the gun. Moore tabled K♣5♠ for the nuts with quads fives to further boost his larger stack.
Patrice Ah-Nien jammed for 16,500 from an early position and was isolated by the eager Ahmed Karrim in an attempt to run up his starting stack in the last level of the registration period.
Ah-Nien was ahead with A♠2♥ versus 5♦2♦ but predicted "I lose" as of the K♦Q♥10♦ flop. The 4♣ turn and K♠ river kept the ace of Ah-Nien ahead. "I only looked at one card," he said and that was presumably the ace and not the deuce.
Fewer than 30 players remain and the field has reached 72 entries with Eben Lottering and Rudolf Fourie jumping in a few minutes ago. In the meanwhile, Corel Snyman was eliminated on table seven to keep the field at 29 hopefuls for the time being.
