David Peters Eliminated in 5th Place ($1,505,000)

Level 20 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
David Peters - 5th Place
David Peters - 5th Place

Hand #77: Connor Drinan raised to 210,000 from the button and David Peters called from the big blind to see a flop of {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Peters checked, Drinan did the same, and the {7-Spades} appeared on the turn. Peters bet what looked to be 230,000, Drinan called, and the {6-Spades} completed the board on the river. Peters fired out 425,000, and Drinan hit the tank before moving all in for 1.86 million. Peters had less than that — 1.135 million to be exact — and thought long and hard before ditching his hand. Drinan then flashed the {A-Hearts}.

Hand #78: Timofey Kuznetsov raised to 220,000 from the button and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #79: Peters moved all in from the button for 1.065 million and swiped the blinds and antes.

Hand #80: Peters moved all in yet again for 1.255 million and Drinan called from the big blind.

Peters: {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Drinan: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Peters had kicker issues, and the {2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop didn't do too much for him. The {7-Hearts} turn have him added straight outs, but the {Q-Hearts} blanked on the river to send him out the door in fifth place for $1,505,000.

Last Two Hands of Level 19

Level 19 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #75: Brian Rast raised to 180,000 from the button and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #76: Connor Drinan raised to 250,000 from the small blind and Timofey Kuznetsov called from the big. The {9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{a-Spades} flop saw Drinan bet another 250,000, and Kuznetsov wasted little time in making the call. Drinan then checked the {7-Hearts} turn, Kuznetsov did too, and the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Again it went check-check and Drinan showed the {6-Spades}{5-Spades}, which was no good against Kuznetsov's {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}.
