"I'm Not Sure What You're Looking At"

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Max Altergott raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and Connor Drinan hit the tank from the small blind. Drinan then looked to his left and began to stare down Bill Klein in the big blind.

"I haven't even looked at my cards yet," said Klein, seeming perturbed. "I'm not sure what you're looking at."

Not long after Drinan announced that he was all in, and both Klein and Altergott ended up folding.

Daniel Negreanu Eliminated

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Tom Marchese raised from the button to 56,000, and Daniel Negreanu called out of the big blind to see the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. After Negreanu checked, Marchese bet 75,000. Negreanu check-raised all in for what looked to be 500,000-600,000, and Marchese made the call.

Negreanu tabled top pair with the {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Marchese had the {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a flush draw.

The turn wasn't a diamond, but it did improve Marchese when the {A-Spades} fell to give him a better pair. The river was the {6-Clubs}, and that was the end of the road for Negreanu.

Rast Takes One

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

On the {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Brian Rast checked, and Dong Kim bet 70,000. Rast called, and the turn was the {A-Spades}. Both players checked to see the {3-Clubs} pair the board on the river. Rast checked, and Kim checked.

Rast turned up the {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for two pair, aces and threes, and Kim mucked his hand.

Klein Shoves on Altergott

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Bill Klein opened for 60,000 from middle position and Max Altergott defended his big blind to see a flop of {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Both players checked, as they did on the {10-Spades} turn, and then Altergott bet 60,000 on the {2-Hearts} river. Klein responded by moving all in for 615,000, and Altergott released.

Nice Pot Pushed to Rast

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Before the two-table redraw could occur, a hand needed to finish at one of the outer tables.

In it, Brian Rast limped from the small blind and then called when Max Altergott exercised his option in the big with a raise to 80,000. The {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop saw Rast check-call a bet of 85,000, and then both players checked the {K-Spades} turn. When the {5-Diamonds} paired the board on the river, Rast fired out 310,000 and Altergott called.

Rast tabled the {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a full house, and Altergott chucked his cards to the muck.

Redraw!

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

With the elimination of David "Doc" Sands in 17th place, there are just 16 competitors left in the field. The players are now redrawing to two tables of eight, and we'll post the new seat draw shortly.

Seidel Busts Sands

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

From the cutoff seat, Erik Seidel raised to 53,000. David "Doc" Sands reraised all in out of the big blind for about 560,000. Seidel called with the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, and that had Sands in a bit of trouble with the {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

Needing help, Sands picked up a flush draw on the {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. The turn was the lowly {2-Clubs}, though, and now Sands needed an ace or a heart on the river to stay alive.

The dealer burned a final time and then dealt the {9-Spades} on fifth street. It gave Sands a pair, but it wasn't the pair he needed to double up. With that, he was eliminated in 17th place, and Seidel increased his stack to 1.76 million.
