Kaverman Picks Off Lichtenberger Bluff

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action passed to Byron Kaverman on the button and he opened to 22,000. Andrew Lichtenberger called in the big blind and checked the {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop.

Kaverman continued for 22,000 only to have Lichtenberger check-raise to 64,000. Kaverman called and both players checked the {K-Hearts} on the turn.

The river landed the {9-Clubs} and Lichtenberger pushed out a bet of 131,000 as Kaverman entered the tank and eventually had to use one of his time extension buttons.

Kaverman finally found a decision, and that was to call. Lichtenberger tabled his {8-Spades}{7-Hearts} for eight-high while Kaverman rolled over his {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for two pair.

As Lichtenberger dropped to 200,000, Kaverman climbed to be just a few big blinds shy of 2 million in chips.
