Third Double Today for Jablonskis

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Algimantas Jablonskis
Algimantas Jablonskis

Algimantas Jablonskis has already won two all-in situations by winning a flip. He just won a third where he wasn't flipping when the money got in but was flipping on the flop.

The Lithuanian open-jammed for 70,000 from the button with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and was called by Ahmed Ibrahimi with {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Ibrahimi had some hope to eliminate his opponent after the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Spades} flop gave him a flush draw.

However, the {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {k-Hearts} on the river were safe cards for Jablonskis and he got the double up.

Ahmed Ibrahimi Eliminated in 6th Place (€8,200)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Ahmed Ibrahimi
Ahmed Ibrahimi

Ahmed Ibrahimi opened to 32,000 with {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} from the cutoff. Mathias Siljander three-bet to 110,000 with {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} from the small blind and Ibrahimi called.

Siljander bet 55,000 after he nailed trips on the {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop and got a call. Siljander led out for 90,000 after the {q-Spades} came on the turn and got a call again.

The {8-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Siljander bet more than the 209,000 Ibrahimi had behind and got a snap-call.

Ibrahimi got the bad news that his kings were no good against six-deuce and headed to the cashier to collect the sixth-place prize of €8,200.

After the hand, players went on a 15-minute break.

Jablonskis Doubles for a Fourth Time

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Algimantas Jablonskis
Algimantas Jablonskis

Algimantis Jablonskis has been the shortest stack the entire final table but just nailed his fourth straight double-up by going all-in preflop.

Mathias Siljander opened to 45,000 with {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} from under the gun. Algimantas Jablonskis three-bet shoved for 141,000 with {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} from the cutoff.

The {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} board was no good for Siljander and Jablonskis doubled once again.

The odds of Jablonskis surviving all four of his all-ins at the final table thus far was just 11 percent. He has laddered up four spots so far and now has a little breathing room.

Tapio Vihakas opened for 40,000 from the cutoff with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Mathias Siljander three-bet to 140,000 from the button with {10-Spades}{7-Spades} and got a call from Vihakas.

Vihakas checked-raised from 110,000 to 300,000 after the {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} came on the flop and Siljander called. Both players checked after the {3-Hearts} came on the turn. Vihakas then fired out for 350,000 after the {q-Diamonds} came on the river and Siljander folded.
