Brunnberg Doesn't Show

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Mathias Siljander led out for 2,200 into a pot of more than 4,000 with the {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} on the board and got a quick call from Emil Brunnberg.

Siljander checked after the {7-Clubs} paired the board on the river before Brunnberg fired out for 5,200.

"Oy, yoy, yoy, yoy, yoy," Siljander said before he folded.

"Show one?" Siljander asked before giving his cards to the dealer.

"No," replied Brunnberg.

"I'll show both," Siljander said.

Brunnberg stuck to his guns and tossed both his cards to the dealer.

"Nice hand," Siljander said. "I had two pair."

Early Reentry for Hatipoglu

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Bahadir Hatipoglu was down to less than half a starting stack at the break. He jammed for about 10,000 into a pot of a little more than 5,000 with the {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} putting a straight on the board.

Jari Porkka made the call and turned over {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a seven-high straight and Hatipoglu grabbed his things and headed straight for the registration desk to reenter as he was just playing the six-high straight on the board.

Mahonen Open Mucks

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Jari Mahonen bet 2,200 into a pot of around 4,000 with the {2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades} on the board and got a call from Nikolajs Jalunins. Mahonen fired a bit bigger for 6,000 after the {a-Diamonds} completed the board on the turn and Jalunins snap-called.

Mahonen felt he was behind and decided to toss his hand into the muck instead of showing his cards. Jalunins also didn't show his hand after he collected the pot.

Over 100 Entrants

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

The Main Event field has peaked above the century mark with the big board reading 103 entrants with 99 still in their seats. It won't be surprising if this will be the third year in a row the Main Event grows with 127 entrants in 2017 and 165 entrants last year.

Naski Takes it on the River

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Hassan Sey, who entered the tournament after the break, checked with 15,000 already in the pot with the {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} on the board before Aleksi Naski fired out a pot-sized bet.

Sey tanked for a couple of minutes and several times grabbed some chips while appearing he was in pain. Eventually, Sey made the fold and the dealer pushed the pot over to Naski.
