Set of Sixes Not Good Enough for Brikker

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Priit Brikker
Priit Brikker

Touko Berndtson opened from middle position before he called a three-bet jam of around 20,000 from Priit Briiker sitting next to him.

Priit Brikker: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Touko Berndtson: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Berndtson improved his hand to a set after the {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} came on the board with Brikker needing a runner-runner on the turn and river for the save. Brikker was drawing dead after the {5-Hearts} came on the turn and the set he nailed after the {6-Hearts} came on the river wasn't enough to win the pot.

Brikker is out for now but can still reenter if he chooses before the start of Level 10.

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Bahadir Hatipoglu
Bahadir Hatipoglu

Bahadir Hatipolglu bet 8,500 into a pot of about 20,000 with the {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} on the board and got a call from Ranno Sootla. Hatipoglu then jammed for about 17,000 after the {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river and got a snap call from Sootla.

Sootla immediately showed he had the nuts with {a-Spades}{8-Spades}.

"Nice hand," said Hatipoglu as he went quickly to reregister after showing {7-Spades}{3-Clubs} for two-pair.

Naski Eliminated Jorstad

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Espen Uhlen Jorstad
Espen Uhlen Jorstad

It wasn't a long day for Espen Uhlen Jorstad. A player opened for about 2,800 from the hijack before Aleksi Naski called from the cutoff.

The action folded around to Jorstad in the small blind who jammed for about 17,000. The opening player folded and Naski called.

Jorstad was ahead before the flop with {a-}{10-} against Naski's {k-}{j-}. It was looking good for Jorstad to double after the {5-}{6-}{7-} came on the flop followed by the {10-} on the turn. However, the {k-} spiked the river to pair up Naski and send Jorstad to the rail.
