The under-the-gun player opened to 500. Jérôme Barone to his left three-bet to 1,500 and Julien Breuil called from the cutoff. The big blind called as well, but the initial raiser folded.
The dealer fanned a flop of A♥8♦4♣, and both the big blind and Barone checked to Breuil who bet 1,700. Barone called to find the 5♥ turn, where he led out for 300.
Breuil raised to 7,000, and Barone went into the tank. He eventually folded J♥J♣ face up, which was the best hand as Breuil revealed 9♥8♥.
Moments later, Barone scooped the blinds and revealed A♠A♣.
