Moutaoukil Gets Paid with Set
Level 16
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Julien Breuil opened to 10,000 under the gun and was called by Mathias Moutaoukil in middle position and Gabriel Venturini in the big blind.
The Q♠9♦6♥ flop was checked through by all players.
The 3♣ rolled off on the turn, and action was checked to Moutaoukil, who slid out a bet of 11,000. Both of his opponents called.
On the 8♥ river, action was again checked to Moutaoukil, who fired out a bet of 24,000. Only Venturini called.
Moutaoukil turned over 9♥9♣ for the flopped set of nines, while Venturini chuckled and turned over Q♥10♥ for top pair queens, sending Moutaoukil a decent pot.
