Where will the counter stop? After the first two starting flights of the €1,000 World Series of Poker Circuit Aix-en-Provence Main Event, a total of 715 entries have been recorded — including 393 on yesterday’s Day 1b alone. But with today’s double feature of Day 1c and the turbo-format Day 1d at Pasino Grand, that number is expected to almost double.

Among the 98 players who qualified for Day 2 through Day 1b, it was the 2023 WSOP Europe champion Max Neugebauer who bagged the biggest stack with 688,000 chips after an impressive comeback. He was followed by Mercedes Osti (525,000), while Azzedine Zouitene secured the third spot with 488,000.

They’ll be joined by those who manage to bag chips at the end of today’s flights.

Day 1c is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. local time with 45-minute levels and will conclude once only 25% of the field remains. It will be followed at 8:00 p.m. by Day 1d Turbo, the final starting flight of the tournament, which will feature 20-minute levels.

As with previous flights, players who have not yet entered the tournament can register and re-enter their first flight. However, those who have already played one or more flights will be allowed just one bullet per remaining flight.
