Massive Pot with Kings for Rupp

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Chuc Hoang limped from under the gun. Laurent Rupp in middle position raised to 2,000 and was called by the player to his left and by Henri Benoni in the cutoff. The button raised to 5,200, then the small blind decided to go all-in for 22,600.

Hoang folded, but Rupp called. His neighbor then announced "75,000", making Benoni fold but putting the button in a tough spot. The clock was called and at the end of the countdown, he folded. Rupp immediately called, finding himself at risk for 66,500.

Rupp kept the lead all the way through a board of 2J556 and secured this massive pot while the small blind was eliminated.

Both players checked the 10 turn to find the 2 river where Darcourt bet 8,200. His opponent snap-called, only to see that Darcourt hit trips on the river with 72.

Before the restart, a ceremony was held to award Alexandre Reard his WSOP Circuit ring following his victory in the €2,000 WSOP-C High Roller event yesterday.

The two-time WSOP bracelet winner added a fifth WSOP Circuit ring to his impressive résumé after defeating a 168-entry field to claim the €65,000 top prize. Volga Uyanik finished runner-up for €45,004, while Virgile Turchi, who led most of the final table, had to settle for third place and €32,700.
