The chase for the World Series of Poker Circuit gold ring continues this Friday, April 17 at the Pasino Grand Partouche in Aix-en-Provence with Day 1b of the €1,500 WSOP Circuit Main Event.

This second of four starting flights is expected to be larger than Day 1a, which drew 127 entries, with only 17 players advancing to Day 2 and already securing a place in the money.

Among those players, Suwei Yang claimed the chip lead with a 894,000-chip stack, ahead of Frenchman Julien Sitbon (755,000), while Luis Sequeira rounded out the top three with 724,000 after bursting the bubble.
