Mathieu Choffardet raised to 3,000 from early position and was called by Eric Apikian in the hijack. Alexandre Reard on the button moved all-in for 2,300 and Nikolai Mamut defended from the big blind.

After the 8♥4♣5♣ flop was checked, Mamut bet 8,000 on the 2♠ turn. Choffardet folded but Apikian called.

Mamut asked for 18,000 on the 6♠ river. Apikian went into the tank. He called with A♦3♣ for a straight but Mamut had a better straight with K♦7♠. Reard had J♦10♠ and was eliminated.
